So whats up with the cord?

It's an M$ product, they'll never explain the problem in detail , just palm you off with 'possible' fixes and FAQ's (maybe even a patch )

Seriously? : From what I've read, there seems to be a very small (but still dangerous) problem with older cords 'shorting out' on some consoles.
Therefore M$ are providing a free 'safer' replacement to all consoles affected (those manufactured BEFORE 23/10/2003, like paz said )

Luckily I only poses a PS2 and an imported DS

So could this be why my Xbox doesn't work? Or should I make sure it's plugged in properly at the back...
(Who cares actually. It's not as if I use it.)
