I can see the humor, of course, but it is too offbeat for my
tastes......

So, does that make it inhuman to eat jelly babies? If so I'm guilty of multiple infanticide.

WHich brings to mind the running joke in Florida..
Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?
A: To show the armadillos it can be done.

lol...apparently Hagar there is only a problem, say the "head docs", if you bite the heads off first....means you have some rather unpleasant thoughts running round in there...commoner

Uh-oh. I'm in trouble then. I like to vary it. Sometimes I bite their heads off, sometimes their feet & sometimes I swallow them whole.

PS ...sort of connected to that..would you eat a rabbit or pheasant you found by the roadside..many do but I personally would draw the line if it had a tyre mark on it.

Depends on how hungry I happened to be at the time.

Roadkill candies, that's pretty cool, but of course the fairies out there would have to raise a bitch, they always do.

I always bite the heads off marshmallow chicks first, and I think Roadkill Gummis are hilarious. Real roadkill makes me sad (my very best friend is a dog who lost a leg to a car), but I feel comfortable with Roadkill Gummis. That's because I understand the difference, like anybody with a sense of humor. It's a prerequisite...and after all, the root of comedy is tragedy.
The freaks who protested this are just trying to draw attention to their cause (donations pay their salaries, and they probably all feed meat to their cats). Either that, or they're just stupid, and figure the rest of us are, too. It reminds me of when PETA offered $50,000 to the town of Hamburg, NY to change their name to "Veggieburg" (forgetting, apparently, that the meat sandwich was named after a town in Germany, which also inspired the name of the town in NY State). How many animals could've benefitted directly from all that money, I wonder?

Nothing of course, but roadkill actually causes animal death, candy
shaped like roadkill causes nothing.

....roadkill does indeed cause animal death, but have you ever seen the crows, magpies and other wild life feeding from them.....staff of life to them maybe, especially in the winter when times are hard..commoner :'(
