Its was a nice Wednesday night...Took my girlfriend out to dinner and a movie.  Dinner was great and the movie was too....but we basicaly had the place to ourselves.  I think that theater can seat about 250+ in each of the 7 rooms.  There was only 5 others besides us and they sat across from us....Takes the fun out of it really.  I wanted to teach her the fine art of torturing the other people with variouse small food items ;D   But there was no targets to choose from :-/ :P ::)

First of all Wednesday, becouse it falls in the middle of the week, is a slow night for theaters.

Secondly, what movie did you go see?  If its been out for awhile chances are everyone has already seen it and I doubt they'll want to see it again.

Try going on a Friday or Saturday night to the openning of a new movie.  There I'm sure you'll find many targets for you mischief.

And lastly....ARE YOU THE ONE THAT KEEPS HITTING ME IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD WITH JUJUBEES???

A mean thing to do yet very funny is to "spill" your soda on the ground granted it is not carpet (it has to have a hard floor which most theaters are) after the movie when people are getting up you can just see them with there feet sticking to the ground..pretty funny at a cheap price  ;)

We saw Hide & Seek...I do believe it just came to this theater monday.  And ive been there on a Wed. before and acualy had to get tickets for the next show cause the one i wanted was full.  none of the movies of the 7 were full     probly about the same as ours.

And dont use jujubees....what ever they are ???  for my ammo   I tend to go more towards popcorn and for long shots these little bb like red hots they sell     you can sit in back and hit someone in the front without even trying if you have a straw ;)

They get mad when you do this but they never think that maby they shouldnt sell candies that make for easy shooting lol ::)

I guess I'm showing my age!  Jujubees are (or were) a licorice type candy similar to "Dots".  They came in various colors and flavors (nobody ever ate the black ones, they were licorice flavor, yuck!).  But they were small, like "Dots", and were perfect for "flicking".

 A few things of note:

 1.  The sticky stuff on a theater's floor is called "Cin-a-muck".

 2.  The theater in the town I grew up in had a balcony.  When you went to that theater, and sat in the lower section, you either sat under the balcony (for protection) or way up in front near the screen (out of range).  If you sat directly below the edge of the balcony you'ld be bombarded by God knows what form above.

 3.  I once took the last flight from Seattle to Sacramento on a Friday night.  There were only about seven people on that flight!!  The Stewardeeses on that flight had everyone move to the front of the aircraft (a 737) so that they could serve us easier.

ah...gotcha ;)         Now that you mention it i do believe i have had jujubees awhile back.  Think they are still sold in some places only under a slightly different name...And i like the black ones....Im strange lol :P

Had we went to the other theater we would have had the balcony  If your lucky enough to get the top balcony.  NO ONE is out of range except those below the lower balcony.  Its just set back far enough you can even nail the people on the first one   Many many targets to choose then (evil grin smiley)

And i wish i had a flight like that lol....Ive only had 1 flight that was half full and that was a CRJ from DTW to FWA :P

Dude, there are far better things to teach a girl at the movies, especially when there's hardly anybody else there.... ;)

i was thinking the same thing. lol
But hey if you want to throw things you go right ahead, but dont come asking for advice when you hit a 250lb mean guy in the head and he threatens to pull your arms off ;) :) i know i would if someone was throwing things at me.

I suppose by theatre you mean cinema. That's what I used to call it anyway. I used to go about 3 times every week on average.  A "private" showing is my idea of heaven. ;) All this nonsense & fooling around explains why I rarely go to the cinema these days. I paid good money to see what's on the screen, not be constantly interrupted by rustling sweet wrappings, people chatting & even mobile phones going off. >:(  I would much rather watch the film on TV in the comfort of my own home. Now, a proper theatre is different. Like any live performer the actors prefer a big audience. It must be gut-busting to try & be enthusiastic about entertaining an empty theatre but the show must go on.

If you were clever, 777, you would have spent the time in the cinema doing other things rather than just sitting there and throwing stuff at other people. ;)

hehehe, great minds think alike..:-)

I will rarely go to the cinema anymore these days, I think the last one I saw was.....Pearl Harbor if I remember correctly.

I'd much rather enjoy the show from the comfort of my own sofa with the pause button under one finger and the other hand in a big bowl of popcorn that cost me much less, and can be made to suit my tastes... :-)

As for cinema quality never fear, the 35" television is more than big enough to suit my needs, and the 6.1 surround is about as good as the theatre...without all of the nuances of the other people...

if this makesme anti-social, so be it... ;-) It don't hurt me none... ;D
