Its been really bad in the northeastern US aswell. JFK was closed due to a 747 skidding off the runway, hundreds of flights cancelled in Philly thanks to 2 aircraft skidding off the runway. Boston was reduced to single runway ops for a short period before closing. Even as far west as chicago things were bad last night. Midway closed, O'hare had major delays. Glad i wasnt in the area.

I'd rather have snow than this d@mn rain.
It's pouring rain for the last week, and you guessed it, flooding and mudslides.

Hah hah! Clear blue skies, no wind and if it wasn't quite so chilly it would have been a great day. First time i've seen blue sky in about a fortnight though...

I use to get several inches of snow here in Little Rock, Arkansas on late December. I hope the snow doesn't come back.

I am riding a d@wn mountain bike to a from work. And riding a bike in the snow is like riding a Kawasaki Ninja in an ice-skating arena. :o :-[ Oh, and did I mention that there is also a phenomenon known as "WIND GUSTS"? :-[ ;D

Sucks to be me. :-/

I second that, although it seems to get colder next week. :P

Ah snow....We caught the bottom of that storm.  We only got about 7-8 inches of it.    Only thing is its been so cold the previous couple snows never melted.  Yard has about 12+inches.  Most roads in town are still completely covered and packed down...Might as well just be ice.  Dont know whats in the forcast other then possible snow showers wednesday :P

Would hate to be out east in the main blizzard though :-/

Bout 10 inches here, Philly Intl is a mess as someone mentioned-everyone called in sick to go to the eagles game, so everything is a mess.
