Hello all, I'm in need of a FAR/AIM manual for my air transportation systems class...

where do I begin to find one?

Many airports that offer flight training also have them, and most major bookstores.

allrighty, Just wondered...

I don't even need a current one, so I was kinda hoping to find last years cheaper somewhere, but I'm currently bidding on a new 2005 one...:-)

Try Sporty's Pilot Shop online, or maybe Jeppeson. The FAR/AIM is a must if you want to "get real" with FS.  Another useful tool is the Airport Facilities Directory (gov't versions for the US are by region) : it has airport diagrams, coordinates, elevations, traffic patterns, freqs., etc. for every airport in the USA.

hehe, just got an aircraft service manual from a guy on e-bay..

typical resale value from manufacturer was 39.99

I paid 10.50 with shipping..:-)
