Boeing gave up it's interest in DH a long time ago...Canadair is the owner now.

Aircraft manufacturing companies change their names so regularly these days even I have problems keeping up. No wonder people get confused.

PS. Just before I retired, Short Brothers of Belfast (established in 1908 & the oldest aircraft manufacturing company in the UK) was owned by Bombardier of Canada. Goodness knows who owns it now. De Havilland Aviation, one of the most famous names in aviation, is now a small maintenance outfit based at Bournemouth Airport which has no connection with the original company. It does however operate a few vintage DH jets for display on the airshow circuit.
