I was wondering what currency is called in other countries.
Like I know in Canada and America, its called dollars and cents. Then in the U.K its pounds and pence.
I was wondering what the unit of cents is for Euros?

The Costa Rican colon is kind of neat. It's divided into 100 centimos. (The accent is on the last syllable.)
When I was there about 10 years ago 1 US Dollar was about equal to 1 Colon. Costa Rican beer was 1 colon or 1 dollar. Imported beer was about 2.5 colones. The exchange rate today is 1 US Dollar = 462.220 Costa Rican Colon. Wow, I could go ape there for a couple of bucks.
Costa Rican electrical current is identical to American so there is no need for Americans to take converters with them.
Costa Rica has no standing army.
Just a couple of things I learned on an interesting trip.

...just a temporary sideways move....

...!
Does anyone know the approximate current conversion factors for:
US dollars to GB pounds.
GB pounds to US dollars.
Useful for knowing the exchange rate when purchasing on Ebay....

...!
Many thanks,
Paul.

A good rule of thumb these days is to devide by two for Pounds into Dollars. I'm afraid that the Dollar is only worth 50-60p these days.
