So I go looking for a plan and the guy at the first place has me waiting for about ten minutes while he finishes with the customer ahead of me. In that time, a kind looking African American woman comes in and stands around until the guys says it'll be a bit and thanks for being patient. She pipes up that she only wanted to buy a case for a phone, and since I'm such a nice guy, I told her to go ahead, since I figured it would be only a couple minutes. Wrong! It took this guy about 20 minutes to sell this woman ONE freaking case! After that, his plans just plain sucked, so I moved on...
Guy number two was much better. We found a phone, a plan that was not too hard on the wallet and fit my credit rating. In my younger days, I was a bit loose with the pen, shall we say, and I've spent years fixing it. So, while I didn't get screwed, I didn't get exactly what I wanted. The worst part is this 'any time minutes' garbage. They try to make it sound like a bonus, but they're really saying that unless you make your calls after 9:00, we're going to keep track and only let you make so many without raping you. Oh, and if I want to pay an extra $5.00 per month, they'll move my time up to 7:00 pm... ::)
Now I only have to transfer about three years worth of phone numbers and email adresses...
