Captain J.Y.Robin?

I was in a jewelery store to-day and on the back wall was a lovely clock shaped like a cloud and about 4Ft by 6Ft.  On the cloud was a wire framed Bi-Plane with pilot.
Not sure of type but had skids as well I believe.
The caption in large letters was "Captain J.Y.Robin" and  elsewhere on the cloud was "Calais every day" and "Dover by air".
I kind of fell in love with it but the old girl said wait and find out more, so here I am.
Is this significant and does it ring a bell with any of you folks?
I searched on the internet for a Captain J.Y.Robin but no such luck.  I do not know the make of the aircraft either so afraid I am not much help.
I do hope I posted this in the correct location and if not I am terribly sorry and will go down to the barn and stand in the corner for an hour if a mod. has to move this

I'm uncertain but I belive the Capt. is a ficticious name, but let me look into it.
I have always liked clocks and at a time had well over 200 in my living room at once, awesome when it struck mid-night
