Attention SBC Yahoo users!

Postby Jared » Sat Oct 30, 2004 10:15 pm

Ever since I upgraded aol to 9.0 I have had a program on my computer that would run every time I would start up.  So finally isntead of studying for a test that I have to take tomorrow I figured I would do some research on this particular spyware program, and figure out how to get rid of it...

popped into my new SBC DSL homepage typed the name of the program and SBC gave me a standard spyware prevention page...

Anyways, I click on the link to see what they recommend and SBC Yahoo actually has a spyware prevention program which basically removes all spyware! :-)

Installed it, and now it runs everytime I log-in to my dsl account in the background for a second or two...

But best of all it removed that blessed file! ;-)

So I figured that I would let anybody who's using SBC Yahoo know that this type of program exists and does work (so far so good anyway..;-))

You use AOL?! I feel bad for you, the new "anti spyware software" in AOL is known to be easy for spyware to get through.

I thought you meant that you still used AOL in this sentence:
Ever since I upgraded aol to 9.0 I have had a program on my computer that would run every time I would start up.

I guess I misinterpreted it ::).
