Jesus H.... where do these idiots get the money from to conduct 'experiments' like this.

Why on earth should they assume that the brain should 'know' that the purpose of the experiment is to 'fly' the plane. Like everyone knows the idea of riding the dodgem cars at the fair is to drive safely round and round in circles don't they. Well they do if you're one of these stupid 'scientists'.

That's amazing! Isn't technology wonderfull? This kind of development could give people who have lost limbs new artificial ones that are controlled by their brains and therefore as functional as ours. Keep open minds folks, don't stunt the growth of potentially helpfull technologies!

What happens if the cells get some infection? Or decompose form lack of nutrients. I bet its hard to keep the neurons going.
