Bad luck?
Posted: Sat Oct 16, 2004 2:24 pmI actually I don't believe in luck but recent (as in this week) happenings in my life might lead the superstitious among us to think I have bad luck. Here is a list of the events in chronological order:
Monday (10-11):
1. My Canon EOS1D (now my ONLY camera) completely stops working for an unknown reason.
2. I get word from the camera shop that It will be 6-8 weeks before I get it back, the airshow that I was going to photo-document is less than a month away

Tuesday (10-12):
1. My flight yoke stops working, for an unknown reason
Wednsday (10-13):
1. One of my cats knocks my rather expensive laptop down off of a 6 foot high shelf, it no longer works (I think the processor got knocked out of its socket).
Thursday (10-14):
1. I discover that my car has a flat tire, I am 30 minutes late for a doctor's appointment.
2. At the doctor's office (after my appointment) I discover that my other tire is flat, I have to call AAA and miss an oppertunity to fly to Orlando with a friend by 2 hours.
Friday (10-15):
1. I come down with a nasty cold (just wait, you'll see what makes this really bad).
Saturday (today):
1. Because of the fact that I have a cold I miss a CH-53 at the local airport
