Trouble With My Intrepid Search for "Pee-Poles"

Postby Scorpiоn » Sun Oct 10, 2004 10:24 pm

;D

I'm proud of that title...

After a long lull in practicality, I'm back into my habit of researching odd and useless things.  First up on my agenda: People! ;D

Strangely enough, it's actually pretty hard to get photos of various kinds of people.  Right now, my best method is beauty magazines (online, I have better things to do than buy People magazine :P), but most people in these magazines tenmd to be the same.  Other than getting down and dirty with the search engines, can y'all fine Sirs concoct any quick and easy methods of acheiving my aims?

I tried "various kinds of people" in the google image search.
Lets just say I found the most unique person out there.

(Don't click the link if you have a weak constitution.)
I warned you!

But anyhow, just look up "people" with the google or yahoo image search.
I found a large variety of persons. Some of them didn't even have clothes on!

I think I shall require eye surgery now Steve, and you are responsible for it!* :o

For the love of Mike, no! I've only seen that thing I linked to twice.

What are you doing with pictures of random people?  Anything specific or is it just another hobby?
Great edit, Bob.

Two reasons.  To better draw people (if it's moves dynamically, I have trouble drawing it - except smoke) and because I've always found physical differences between races quite interesting.  Right now it's for the former reason. ;)

Yes, but I'm sure you'll agree groups of people share unique traits.

One of the cases I most want to investigate is the difference between peoples of South East Asia and Far East Asia.  Contrary to the joke of "they all look the same", I would quite differ.  With a fairly high accuracy rate, I can tell the difference, although I have no idea how I know.

Heck, even a Alabamian will look different from a Texan.  Whereas a Texan will look built and chiseled, an Alabamian will show considerable space between the incisors, and stark similarities between a fellow sister and brother!

;D :o :-X ;)
