Was he like the ex-secretary of information from Iraq?

"The Americans will be thrown out of the country!"
-> "We'll be having sunny weather for all the week!"

;D

Ah knew it was around that year.  They show his weather forcast everynow and then when he said it was gonna be a nice night and no chance of the hurricane!

He is never gonna live it down  ;D ;D ;D I bet he gets ribbed a bit when he re-appears!

Not before time. IMHO He won't be missed. I was never too confident of their predictions but thanks to this idiot I never trusted any weather forecast again.

It never seemed to bother him. He must have a skin like a rhino. I never knew how he had the brass neck not to resign on the spot after making fun of the woman who rang up that evening. Believe it or not he was promoted to head of the BBC meteorology section soon afterwards. ::)
