Oh dear. At least nobody in the crowd seems to have been hurt. The sensational way the "media" likes reporting these things doesn't help at all. The headline in your link says it all. "Daredevil Pilot Crash Investigation Continues" ::)

Here's a more reasonable account of the accident. http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?ContentBlockID=acabd663-1ce4-45b2-837b-b2efe2b76c09&

I've just seen the footage on the news, looks like the pilot probably blacked-out during the spin, as he never seemed to try and recover the plane from it :(

I agree Ozzy, looks like he was out before it hit. IT certainly looked recoverable at one point after the inverted spin...it just never happened. :(

I agree Hagar I was actually offended by the headline,(yes you read right, offended, me! and that isn't easy to do!! )  this is the exact reason many are afraid of flying and think it is so dangerous. They never stop and consider the fact that automobile accidents are so common and frequent that it isn't news "worth" reporting, unless death is involved then they are all over the story.
Aircraft accidents are so infrequent that the news has to make them sound like a major event and hype up the story even more.
And with total disreguard that family and love ones might see the story!
