Spaceshipone takes the X-prize!

Spaceshipeone took off today and completed it's second flight to become the winner of the $10,000,000 dollar Ansari X-prize.  Ever get the feeling you're seeing something really special happen?  :)

This will probably end up revolutionizing passenger travel. Think about it. I could go to Paris for lunch and be back home in time for dinner. Only 1.5 hours to circle the Earth.

I'd be interested to see where the Canadian Arrow project goes from here. They're still second in the running.

If you ever wonder what it would have been like to experience the genius of Michaelangelo during his time just look to Burt Ruttan.
