Stupid Password

Hey all hows it hangin ?
                                   Everytime I load up windows and we arrive at a blank desktop screen it asks me for a password I just press ESC to get rid of it. how do i stop this screen from keep on comming up ?

                  p.s i tried going to control panel > passwords. it does not give me the option to overide it

I got spanish v,but go to "user account" in panel control ,there are options easily to eliminate that ,if were talking of xp

What operationg system ae you running on? Have you tried setting a password for it. It may seem a bit of a b*gger that you have to type it every time it loads up but it could be a god send. My parents computer got stolen and had loads of important credit card details on it, luckily the day before I set a password for them, when the police caught the people who stole it they said they had dumped it because it didnt work, they told the police where it was, my parents got the computer back and aswell as going to prison..........the burgelers had openly admitted to fly tipping and got fine!

In 98 if you ignore it the first time it doesn't come back, but if you just once click ok you will have it popping up forever.

Either re-install or go to a tweaks and tips site - they can tell you how to get rid of it.
