virtual reality

Postby yancovitch » Sun Sep 26, 2004 12:57 pm

sure many have thought of this........but when i'm totally involved in my flight sim and it's virtual reality, i can't help feeling that i'm really sitting up above somewhere with some kind of game controller controlling my body in this virtual reallity, like am i the puppet, or the puppeteer. maybe when the real me upstairs goes to  work or whatever, is when i sleep??? maybe life is all about creating one virtual reality after another???      food for thought i guess...............cheers,...........vic.

You have a point there.  After all, the entire universe is just a figment of my imagination, therefore you are only as real as I imagine you to be.

So suppose you "die" while playing in traffic . . .

Maybe that guy upstairs just hits RESET and you pop back up in one of those "alternate realities" we're always hearing about . . .
