Guys,

On the surface it looks like hundreds of normal sized mushrooms but they are all connected underneath to a single root system.  Kinda like hundreds of houses all connected to the same sewer system.

Aspen groves are the same way. Not individual trees. But one organism, with each tree being a "shoot" so to speak. Some of those are rather large too.

I think they are the worlds largest in mass (tonnage).
