I don't like SAS as a whole, but SAS norway is nice since they are an all-Boeing fleet  :)
SAS Denmark flies mainly Airbus, while SAS Sweden does not.
So there is a great difference between SAS and SAS  ;)

I haven't flown on too many major airlines & some of these were a few years ago. Speaking as an ordinary passenger here's my list in order of preference.

Singapore Airlines - excellent - can't fault it.
American Airlines - always my first choice for transatlantic flights.
British Airways - not bad but could do better.
Continental - my first transatlantic flight experience. Not impressed. Wouldn't chance it again.
Virgin Atlantic - very disappointed although my niece works as senior cabin crew.

I tend to only fly American Airlines, but since they stopped using St louis as a major hub, and fly mainly small twins out of it now, I think Im going to have to change airlines. Now only if Frontier would fly to New England...

As a former employee, I've gotta go with Continental!
Great edit, Bob.

Southwest.  They fly from where I want to fly, direct to where I want to fly, for less then the others will do the job.  Hard to argue with that!

Not a fan of the paint scheme though...

I have to go with Alaska. Their upgrades to business class are the cheapest. You can choose which leg you want to upgrade too. O and drinks are free too!

Malev and Qantas have both impressed me with superb customer service.
TWA, BA, and British Midland I wouldn't wipe my bottom on!

Cirrus, member of Lufthansa and Lufthansa itself.

If speaking of experience,I can recommend Condor, Austrian and Malev.
