EXTERMINATE!

The BBC has travelled through time and space to confront an ancient adversary: brand-sensitive artistic agents. Yesterday both sides materialised to announce the next series of Doctor Who would include the return of the Daleks.
Instead of being exterminated, the metal monsters with voices will make a come back next year in the 13-part series.
The future of the Daleks had been caught up in a dispute between the BBC and the estate of Terry Nation, the writer who created them.
Mal Young, BBC controller of continuing drama series, said: "As well as coming face-to-face with new and exciting monsters ... the Doctor will also do battle with his arch enemy, the Daleks." Last month Tim Hancock, agent for the Terry Nation estate, alleged that the BBC had tried to commission a cartoon series about gay Daleks for BBC Three. "We want to protect the integrity of the brand," he said.
Yesterday Mr Hancock said the differences had been resolved after the estate had been recognised as joint copyright owners.

Good news for all us Whovians ;D
