I had never heard of this until today but apparently 25 years ago today, New York Yankee's cather Thurman Munson was killed when he crashed his private jet.  I just thought I would post a link to a story about him-for those of you who were around back then and remember it-or those who would like to read it.

I remember it well, ....he was a big part of the Yankees, and if I recall correctly, the flight was in aid of spending more time with his family.......... :-/
