I've been on the finish line to see Lance lift the title twice before and hope to be there this year also. I hope Lance does it but I think this could be the year he just falls short.

Since I'm a dumb nationalistic dude,I'll put my money on Ullrich. ;)

Go Lance!! 6 in a row would be truely amazing, like Ozzy said, especially after he had brain cancer a while back!

I thought Lance did a superb time trial but we will not see the best from Mr. Armstrong until the mountains.

Spot on hawker, crushing blow to the likes of Ullrich not just in time, but mentally as well.  Ullrich was clearly in pain today and I think his fitness may not be up to snuff.

I hope Lance wins another, he's one of my favorite athletes (he has been ever since I read his book).  I'm impressed with what he did in the 12th stage, starting out in 6th place 9:35 back and made up 4 minutes (puting him in 2nd overall)-not bad.  I think he has a good shot at winning it again.

Lance Armstrong was mighty in the mountains today and I agree that Ullrich looked in some real trouble. He always looks a tad on the heavy side to me and although he was said to be quite a few pounds lighter going into this year

Whats really sad though is Armstrong didn't really do any serious acceleration or attacking.  He just kept up the tempo with Basso and Ullrich was not able to do so.

I don't think thats sad, I think that was his plan.  He is just now starting to attack-once they got to the mountains where he is so good.  All he was doing early on was staying with the big threats and not pushing too hard.  The race is too long to attack during every stage (and since Armstrong is a climber, he has waited until now to make his move).

Ah yes, "it is sad" must be a New York thing...hard to explain what I meant.

Surely this has to be over now...pure and utter domination... ::) 8)

And some of those fans out there need a visit from Ozzy and a certain orange goo. :o 8)
