First of all, what makes you supect it's a fake & what motive would the author have for submitting it? I notice the author is a regular contributor to Anet & doubt any serious photographer would risk their reputation by attempting to fool anyone.

That long URL throws the forum page out of kilter. Why not use the short link instead?

I think it's a fake. In fact I'd say that was iFDG's A321. The airplane just looks too cartoony to be real.

The only thing that makes it look cartoony is the lighting .... I'm amazed that anyone got such a good picture in it.

Something that no one has noticed is the Hair just right of Bottom Centre.... no one is going to fake that just to get a pic on A.net.

cheers

If anything I suggest this proves just how realistic FS aircraft models are these days. Things have certainly come a long way in a very short time.

No need for apologies old chap. I was simply curious as to what made you think it's a fake in the first place. ;)

Yep, the only thing that looks fake about it is the lighting. It is rare for even avid photographers like me to get a shot that good!

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they

I'm undecided on this one, which speaks volumes in itself!
Great edit, Bob.

It's a real shot, no question about it....

This is based on my extensive (3 months) use of an el cheepo digital camera and fiddling with Paint Shop Pro freeware version.       ::)

I suppose these people think they're very clever. ::)
It's the same with anything worthwhile I can think of. A few rotten eggs spoil it for everyone. Since the very first fake photo was posted on the web everyone seems to suspect all photos of being faked in some way. This is one reason I dislike editing my own amateur efforts in any way - apart from what I regard as normal post-processing if necessary.

I don't edit, mainly as PSP8 as so many features I can't figure out. After seeing what you did with those shots for me though Doug I'm having a second go. I took some shots up at the vineyard yesterday and I'm now conducting experiments.... some of them have had scary results ;D ;D ;D
