Brits have gone too far with their beer.

I'll be in London in less than a month, so I'm looking at random facts.

Device Introduced To Find Nearest Pub

A device has been introduced by two entrepreneurs in London that directs a person to the nearest pub.

I thought as much. LOL ;D

In the United Kingdom a pair of beer-loving entrepreneurs are marketing a device that straps onto the wrist and directs the wearer to the nearest pub, according to a story in Britain's newspaper The Sun.

I wouldn't believe a word of it. ::)

Just found out that the cell phone I got yesterday has a GPS sending unit in it for just such purposes :o.  It can be switched off, but soon, they'll probably just include them, always on, without telling us.  If I ever become a fugitive, I guess I'll have to throw away my phone :P.

As Doug says they keep trying new features on mobile phones & it's quite likely this is some research project by university students. I was reading an old article about creating a pubs database for a website after posting my reply. Not sure if anyone took this up or how far they got with it. I found it with a search on Google. Lost it now so I cant give you the link.

Thanks, Smurf Ranger ;),  it's nice to be here 8).

I'm going to be very busy for the next month or so, but I'm going to try to check in as often as I can.
