Paul lives in Herefordshire, not Hertfordshire fortunately. But this does go back to the issue of microlight pilots and safety :(

I think this is the same incident that Saitek reported in an earlier topic. I hadn't realised the "light aircraft" was a microlight. It's unfortunate but I must agree with Mark on this. I'm surprised it hasn't happened long before now. :'(

Read "Propellerhead" by Antony Woodward if you get the chance. This certainly opened my eyes to the attitude of some of these microlighters. :o

Yes Fozzer fortunately lives in Herefordshire but I on the other hand live right on the border of London and Hertfordshire so that was almost right on my doorstep :o .I  read that story in the Metro this morning too and saw it briefly on the London news last night. That is my local airfield and the place i am taking my flying lessons (when i get the money) :( . here is the scan from the newspaper this morning.

Hi eno...!
...You can't get rid of me that easily... ;)...!
Most of my microlighting is carried out under the safety of Golden Gate Bridge.... ;D...!
(When Ozzy's not around)... ;)...!

Isn't it amazing...you look out at that big blue empty sky above you and you think, "How on earth can two small aircraft collide with each other..."...?
...but sadly, they do..
