going to have to be more specific.
Is this for flight sim? or in general because i wouldnt use a joystick for most of my games

keyboard, mouse, joystick and I also have my PS2 control wired up to the PC thanks to a small adaptor i bought  ;D

I use the controller that came with an R/C flight sim. Looks like a real R/C 7ch transmitter so I can program all critical controls to my finger tips.
[center]I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. ;)

Joystick with separate throttle.

Saitek X-45 to be exact.

X-45 Joystick and throttle here too. I don't know how I ever used flight sims without it.
