I always had a few doubts about George Bush Snr. but then I guess he was living in Ronnies shadow, but today for his 80th he went skydiving. That is a cool way to celebrate being 80 8) 8) 8)
Respect Mr. President ;) ;D :o

not really his first jump though...
If I remember right he flew for the navy and got shot down during WWII. Still, not bad for an 80 year old  8)

I thought he only got shot down once, off the coast of Chichi Jima, and got  picked up by a sub. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be here today, if I remember correctly 6-10 american navy, 1 marine corps, and 1 USAAC b-24 guy got shot down on the same island and were captured, all of them were executed and some of then were cannonbalized :(............read the bookFlyboys, good book

P.S. just for the record, its not a blame-it-all-on-the-usa-book, it gives a fair account on what happened

He also jumped on his 75th b-day and made two jumps yesterday for his 80th.

When asked if he'd jump again for his 85th, he said he might not wait that long.

Also, he was supposed to solo this jump, but the winds were too strong which resulted in his tandem.

He's active for his age. Hope I'll be that active at 80.

The amazing thing is that he is only 13 years younger than Reagan was when he passed away.

Gee, anyone think Bush will live forever?  lol
