My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Sadly incidents like this make the FAA look into airshows and the saftey of the spectators. I just hope since finally airshows are making a comeback since 9-11 that no un-needed restrictions are put into place.
Accidents happen, but not as frequent as most think, that line of thinking which the Media seems to like to instill in the minds of the un-knowledgeable.

When I was very young, our family had been plannind on going to a certain airshow for weeks. When the day finally came, we were all sick. We found out later that an aircraft crashed, killing quite a few spectators

Does anyone know how many P-51C's are left flying-there couldn't be more than a couple. Hopefully it can be restored.

Posted: Mon May 31, 2004 1:11 amSome people seem more concerned for the aircraft rather than the pilot. No matter how rare the aircraft might be it's only a hunk of metal. The pilot was irreplaceable, especially to his loved ones.
