A jet playing silly games decided to fly over the top of a hercules from Lyneham it shaved off the top of the props on i believe one of its engines. This happend in afghanistan i will get more info as it becomes avaliable, but this was just reported on local news. It was also the captains last flight for the air-force(what a way to go out)

Nope this afternoon I was at the ice-cream shop with my class during 8th lesson, before that I'd been battling in the classroom all day long :P

Teachers taking students for ice cream during class....and we wonder why Hungarians do such crazy stuff with their airplanes and fall on ice axes. ;)

There must be something in the ice-cream, Hungary has produced more Nobel prize winners per head than any other country.
For example  most of the guys who invented the atom bomb were Hungarians....
Personally I just like the ice-cream ;D
Oh and I won't see this class again until next year as they are away on field trips for the next two weeks, and they are one of my favourite groups :(

Actually next week they are going to visit an important historical site in Transylvania which used to be part of Hungary, and the week after that they are in Budapest for an EU student conference :o
And most teachers here on the last lesson take their students out for an ice-cream, its a strange but rather agreeable tradition. However final year students normal get the chance to buy me a few beers ;D
