Love is in the Air

Was flipping through an issue of Aviation Canada from 2003 when I came upon an interesting/strange article. A new tour airline operating out of Pemberton BC. It's called Love Air.

A fee of $350 gets a lovely 1 hour airplane ride for couples. What makes it so lovely is what goes on in the back of the Cessna 208. That's right! No longer does it have to be done in the washroom of a 747 on thoes long haul trips. The planes are equipped with a bed and sheets in the back for a little, you know what.  ;)

The only thing separating the pilot and the lovers is a curtain. Even with headphones and the roar of the engine, some things can still be heard. Pilots for the airline have said that the extra "turbulence" poses a new flying challenge.

This truly is one of thoes only in BC storys.  ;D

There's a similar organization in the states.  I just wonder what the flight attendants look like. ;)

In a related story (not in the incest sense), a local radio station was offering a chance to one lucky SOB to "Screw over his ex" on Valentines Day.

Now, at first I thought "What kind of idiot is so mad at his ex that he'd seek revenge from a radio station."

Then I listened more, and what they were actually giving away was dinner for two, then a helicopter ride over the city, followed by a trip over your ex's residence...giving you and your current a chance to literally....

No, no, no...this was an identical service that allowed and encouraged you to join the Mile High Club.  I think the airline was called Mile High Air or something like that.

we had an instructor on one of our courses for cadets who owned a cessna 182 or something of the like (very small) and he had to fly it when some people were in the back becoming members of the mile high club.  He had recently purchased a Cessna Citation (or might I say his bank did) and he did inform us that he was the first one (with the help of his spouse) to break it in.
