Sports forum!?
Since when does SimV have a Sports forum?

I thought we were all a bunch of pasty white computer nerds,
playing flight sims in poorly lit rooms all day?

Could I be wrong...?

Sadly my Seattle Mariners are riding the celler.  Don't know why, on paper they look like a good team but their pitching just isn't up to snuff.

Well, I have always been a Braves fan-and I don't know why.  The weird thing is that I'm doubt I could be in the contenintal US and be much farther away from Atlanta-since I live in Oregon.

Anyway, [glb]Go Braves!!![/glb]

Oregon might get the Expos. Most likely not, but its still a possibility. I have heard rumors about them going to Mexico(Monterey) or Washington D.C.

I'm all in for the Mariners (I'm from Washington) ! They've done ok this season so far, but not as good as the others....

I know we are all fans of our teams, but what are the weak spots in your team? For me:

Chicago Cubs: Offense is a little spotty, yeah we have Sosa, Alou, and Lee, but run turnout has been poor when the potential was there. The bullpen needs some more stregth, they moved Wuertz to AAA and brought up Beltran. His stuff is alot more dependable, Wuertz just got in by luck. AAA Iowa should be his home for a few more seasons. B+

Anaheim Angels: The offensive and defensive power still remains from 2 seasons ago when they won the championship, but starting pitching is alot less than the 2002 team. The addition of Colon is a plus, he has alot of control with his pitch. Solid B

"....not as good as the others...."!!  According to todays P-I they're last in their division, 9 and 1/2 games out of first place.  Man, if they don't start winning soon their going to be so deep in the celler you won't even hear them echo!!
And what's worst my second favorite ball team, the Oakland A's (I'm an old east bay native), are in second to last place in the same division.

I have to admit the Angels have done a complete 180 from last year.
