So I'm standing here fixing dinner (Spaghetti with meat sauce and stuffing) when there's a knock at my door. I open it and there's two people there from the cable company saying they're here to disconnect the cable TV I dropped almost 4 months ago. Apparently they stopped charging me, but never disconnected it. And all this time I could have been getting free cable. What do you know about that...

When I moved into the house I had in Reno, I hooked the TV up to the cable and found that the cable was operational. I got free cable w/HBO for 7 years untill there was an audit done on my street. I wasnt charged with anything because all I did was hook the tv to the cable, not tamper with the cable outside. I saved over $3500

No, I still have the cable modem. I've been getting and paying for internet the whole time. They've just been giving me free cable and I didn't know it.

i remember a few years ago SKY(sattelite company) were doing a deal to get customers to come back to them, they gave us for 2 months the entire channel package for free, however after 2 months they didnt disconnect it and we continued to recieve the whole deal for free for a further 3 months, at the end we got a call asking why we didnt tell them, simple answer was, would you? and since it was up to them to disconnect it, why bother worrying about it:)

I agree with Raz
It's nice to know that there are still honest people out there.
Loomex could have called the company and let them know, but then he'd have to spend $3500 for cable. Why not let the little guys take advantage of the companies once in a while. But, maybe that's why prices are so high on everything?
I'm so confused!!!
(This whole piece is
supposed to be funny)
