Simviation Forums

I tryed to log in earlier today but the forums were down.  It seems that things have dissapeared.  Like a few posts.

What happend  

Total forum crash. All files now are backed up copies from before, ranging from a few hours before the crash to about a week ago. some new things will be here while others wont be. Go start over.

There is a message about this on the front page here, a few files and threads have been lost. I have lost about 50 posts I made yesterday. Don't panic

For a while I thought my account had been deleted, my password din't work, then I was told my name didn't exist, then all my posts apeared with no name and the rank of valued member and then having done nothing different I managed to get back in  ???

I tuned in and found General Discussion with Zero posts in it and freaked.

AHHH!!! Run for your lives !!!!

I was a little concerned too... I was checking my email and ALL (2 ) of my posts had been deleted and some other ones too

Oh well... now to put them back up

I too was pretty concered when I came to the forum and found it down.  But, remembering when this happened in the past, I knew that we could all count on Pete to fix everything.

Yeah. I've lost a quater of my posts. .

Anyone know what a new server would cost?  I know they're pretty expensive.  Perhaps we could take up a donation...
