Unfortunately I was a month away from flying lessons 6 years ago..................then I got engaged and the money was tight!  :( Saving for the wedding was allot! Then came the house, then came my daughter, now my 2nd is due in May.............. :P
The closest I can come is the $50 "affordable" Sim!   >:( :-X
One day I will get my wings. I didn't realize how much I loved flight until later in my life. I congratulate allot of you young guys for following your dream and hope that it comes true.  Good luck to all of you who are are pursuing a career in the aviation industry!

For me right now it's diapers, a mortgage and a bottle of scotch in the garage!  ;D

Hey Fly2e, you can still do it.  The progam I'm in has plenty of guys over 40 getting their commercial degree to become bush pilots. ;)

I've had about 10 hours in light aircraft and 11 parachute jumps. I plan on getting a Meng in Aero engineering and then entering the RAF, hopefully to fly the EFA or JSF.

The only bush I will be seeing are the ones in my backyard that need pruning!  :P Eventually when the work on my house is complete, and the kids are off to school, and my wife has taken out a large life insurance policy,...I will be getting into some type of aircraft....I just hope it has a handicap ramp!  ;D
