World War I fighter pilot, Major Christopher Draper (61), who flew under 15 of the 18 bridges spanning the river Thames in Central London to prove that he could still handle a plane pretty well, was discharged by a Magistrate's Court when he appeared to answer eight summonses of dangerous flying.
Major Draper was ordered to pay ten guineas as costs.
