Just wondering what is the biggest amount of downloads have you guys ever seen someone have in FS2002 or FS2004 or maybe even in FS2000/98? Also what is the limit for FS in terms of downloads?
In the hangar simultaneously or overall? Jeez...I've been downloading since FS98, and only a handful of the airplanes have been kept. Not to mention sceneries and utilities...
In six years I'd say hundreds and hundreds of things have gone through my system...can't wait to see what comes next!
I have a 200 gb harddrive so I have a little room for aircraft. Right now I am around 100 or so, including 4 or 5 paywares, and a lot of sceneries (mainly Alaska/North Canada)
Since I started this little hobby way back in FS5.... I would venture a guess in the hundreds of gigs overall. The largest single file I ever downloaded was about 100MB. I forget what it was though. I have seen files range from 5KB up to 150MB. Thank heavens for DSL.

Interesting, who holds the record of having the most amount of downloads in numbers and in GIG's in FS2004. That includes number or airplanes and sceneries.
26,2 GB total size of the FS folder of which there is 108MB of scenery files for AI traffic 18,5GB of aircraft, including AI machines, sounds and panels 6MB of effect files 800MB of assorted navigation maps and airport diagrams 500 MB of utilities, mostly PAI sourcefiles 2,7GB of addon scenery that is used. this includes AFCAD files. there is another 90MB unused scenery in the folder that has some issues and therefor is disabled
f14driver, WOW!!!! You are beating me. I have about 1900 planes in FS2004 and several hundreds of add-on sceneries, mesh/terrain etc. How long have you been collecting yours? I started with FS2000 but I only have maybe maximum of 10 planes left from FS2000. All of them are FS2002 and mostly FS2004 ones.
I once had just a little over 300 planes installed in CFS1 but because of the 100 plane limit on CFS2 I normally only have around 90 instaled now. I did have 200 or so in FS2K2, but I only really ever fly a few, mostly warbirds, so I have around 60 installed right now. I have about 20 third party aircraft in CFS3 pluss around 20 repaints installed. My hanger folder still contains every download I've ever made and currently takes up something like 20gig.
