In Canada women have the right to go bare chested anywhere it is acceptable for a man.

It's called equality.

I find it ironic that "The Land of the Free" is so repressed about something like this.

we have the same law in Ithaca, NY. Women can legally walk around with no top on. Even invited the acting chief of police(a female) to a picnic.

Like I said in the superbowl thread, people are stupid to be freaking out over a split second boob shot, it's like "Let's pretend boobs don't exist or are bad and evil." How retarded.
Of course here in America if someone is the least bit offended by something it's a big deal and there will be lawsuits and censorship and things get banned, but since we allow this to happen I'm quite sure it will always continue, gimme a f***in' break.

I have no hang-ups about nudity myself. I always thought it strange that so many people are obviously offended by the human body. Women have been sunbathing topless on my local beach for years. Nobody thinks anything of it. Brighton, just a few miles from here had the first official nudist beach in the country back in 1979. It's right next to the kiddie's playground. So what? ::)

Not having seen this "incident" myself I can only go by what I read in the newpapers. When I first heard about it I have to admit wondering what all the fuss was about. This is the 21st century for goodness sake. It's hardly worth reporting is it? ???

However, the Superbowl is a typical American thing & the majority of viewers would be in America. I suppose the nearest thing we have to it would be the FA Cup Final. It's a family event & many youngsters would be watching. Even I know that & I've never watched it. Miss Jackson must have been perfectly well aware that flashing a boob would offend many viewers, especially if it was done in a sexual way. Mind you, plenty of female pop stars make overt sexual gestures in music vids without needing to remove any clothing. Nobody seems to complain about that. This stunt was obviously carefully planned in advance whatever she might say. I suspect she needed the publicity. I think that maybe she was a tad misguided but it won't do her much harm in the long run.

With all the problems in the world I'm now wondering why I bothered commenting on this in the first place. I must be getting just like all the other sad people who worry themselves sick over this sort of thing. ??? ;)

As far as nudity with pop stars. Anyone seen britneys new video? a girl supposedly targeted at 8 and 9 year olds, naked in her video covered by some diamonds. and being shown more than jackson was.
as for jordan and this show from what i can tell its on late at night live so little kids wont be watching and the day time show i believe is on a delay so they edit out innapropriate stuff.
If you look at our papers the sun being the key one they have page 3 models again showing more than jackson, and any kid with some small amount of cash could pick it up.
Side note: you'd get a more intelligent conversation from a wall than you would Jordan.
