Bill Gates

Some funny facts just on TV.
Bill gates is richer than all but 52 countries, just below bangladesh.
He could give every single person $150. or every person on the planet, 7 dollars.
If he were to spend $1000's a minute for the next 80 years, he would still be worth more than 8 of the richest music stars put together.
His stock going up and down a few points is the equvilant of what ophra winfrey earns in a year, and she is a billionare.

And yet with all this, he still cant produce a flawless operating system. Cant get a decent hair cut, and obviously not find a decent exercise trainer.

Not to mention, find a decent looking pair of glasses.

I suppose, with respect, that if it wasn't for Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, (Apple Computers), we probably wouldn't be sitting here now in front of our "easy to use" computer systems, and enjoying every minute..... ;D...!

I personally, would still be looking at my Sinclair Spectrum, 8 bit, 8 colour, 256 X 32 screen resolution on a television set, 48K memory, beep sound effects, etc, etc,.... ::)...!

Even my later Amiga 1200 Computer used a graphical interface, (like Windows), designed by Apple Computers... 8)...!

Thank-you, Bill and Steve... ;)...!
...that's progress, ...and I suppose it costs money... 8)...!

Cheers all... ;D...!

Paul.

P.S.  mind you...I still love my Sinclair Speccy... ;D...!
LOL...!

i second that. you should be grateful to have such a good operating system (okay,it has bugs, but nobody/nothing's perfect ;))on your PC instead of complaining about it all the time.  :-/

Theres no denying what Bill and Steve have made our lives a whole lot easier.
But if it wasn't them, it would of been another pair of geeks that did it, and bill and steve would still be working at McDonnolds :)

...and stuff the glases and contacts, with that kinda money, he could have laser surgery 8)
