RIP- Thad, my first instructor

Postby d0mokun » Thu Jan 29, 2004 3:21 pm

Hi guys,
just thought i'd do a post as a mark of respect to my first instructor; [sp] Thadius Grabonowski.
Earlier I was told of a plane coming down behind a factory nearby where I live yesterday. Today I just learnt that it was my first instructor, and the aircraft I first flew and trained in- Golf- Delta Alpha Charlie Foxtrot. Unfortunately both plane and life were lost in the accident.
I dont want to offend anyone that might've known the gentleman; I just wanted to put my mark of respect on these forums.
Below are a few photos I took when I was on the flight. I look a lot younger than I do now but I suspect Thad hadn't changed that much.
Thanks for reading guys.
Dan.
