Here is a link to the article on why so many Americans are fearing lawsuits.

http://www.msnbc.com/news/1001353.asp

This article consists of three pages. So, at the end of the last paragraph, you will see a word "Continued" followed by a number of pages.

Click on the next page when you are done reading.

Anyways.

Man, it's no wonder I am hearing more court cases than ever.

Right now, I'm being vigilant on whoever passes by my house because I have a Rockweiler that about 3 years old and can bite.

It's absurd that a guy would sue the city/town of a community baseball game where he broke his leg sliding into third base.  It is an inherit risk of playing the sport.

I hope the case gets thrown out.

People around here sue because they fall on icy sidewalks.  It snows around 200" a year around here.  Get common sense and take it slow or avoid the ice!

Maybe common sense is not so common anymore... :-/

Those litigators always know [and have known] that all of their accidents are just nothing more than consciencely self-inflicted actions.

They always love to sue for the almighty montary unit [money].

They know that their so-called "accidents" would only cost them about $20,000- $50,000 USD. That's why they would sue for $100,000-$9,000,000 USD so that they can have a large chunk of leftover money.

And don't forget, the lawyers get a share of the leftovers as well.

A litigator is a person who sues others [for money] just for a living. The litigator [also known as the "plantiff" in a court] has everything to gain while the defendant has everything to lose.

If anyone does that to me, I will sue them back [3-fold] in the same way they did to me so that could have my money back and teach them a lesson. 8)

My dad is a lawyer...deals with personal injury cases.  He has hilarious stories of idiotic people that they turn down.  Only around 5% have any kind of case.

Really stupid stuff...once he gets the police reports, you can see how the plantiffs lie to the law firm.

(Well known cases include...little girl riding into the side of a parked car(claimed the car hit her? ::)), and there was one case where someone was in a supermarket produce department, saw green beans spilt on the floor, told no one, then went and proceeded to slip and fall on the beans...all the while consciously knowing the beans were there... ???

Here's another name for the term "Litigator"..........."CON ARTIST"!!!!!!

In the 1990's, a woman went to Disney Land to have some fun for Halloween.

During the night, while she was at a hotel resort in Disney, a unknown man had broke into her room and assaulted her.

The next day, she sued all of Disney Land for lack of security for their customers. Of course, she won the case.

In the end, years later, it was discovered that the woman had everything planned out from the start.

The man who assaulted her was her [I'm not sure] her big brother or friend. She even gave the guy the keys to her room. ::)

There was also this time when a man started doing some coning business as well. He was TRAINED by his dad to do such things slip-n-fall in a store. He later became known as one of the best con artists.

EX:

First he was shopping at the Seven-Eleven. He went to a back isle and saw a small puddle of water without any warning signs placed. Of course he played the fall. Then he starts to say that he broke his leg.

This is where the hard part comes in. How is he gonna convince a doctor that his leg is broken even though it's really not broken? X-rays do exist, you know. ::)

He then had to acted out like he really had a broken leg while those around him tried to help him. If he acted right, the doctor might NOT perfom the x-ray and will probably write it down on the report that the guy does have an injury.

Then the lawsuits start to pour in.
