What's the best college football team in Florida?

All of the national polls say:

9. Florida State
10. Miami
11. Florida

Miami beat both Florida and Florida State but Florida State is ranked higher nationally.  Florida State goes to the Swamp today with a 1 point spread and 47.5 over/under.

A cold front just went through so it shold be dry with temperatures in the 50's (F).

its def between florida state and miami in my opinion
then again i am more of an oklahoma sooners fan

I must admit to being a UF (Florida) Gators fan.

While Florida has had a good start, and been a giant killer - winning over higher ranked teams, usually Florida-Florida State games can throw the rankings out the stadium and it's a whole 'nother animal.

Florida State may be the favorite going in this year, but Florida is on a "roll" ...   I don't want to call the game.

I think it's gonna be a good game-as it always is.

True - but that second half was the real game.  For all practical purposes, it was a 2-minute game.

Once again, UF snatches defeat from the jaws of victory ..  :(  But I think that Bobby Bowden - and just about every FSU/UF fan watching didn't breathe until the last second.

There's always next year.

Great game, except for the losing part- .  Anyway, that is one of the best UF/FSU games I have ever seen.  For a second, once Leak got outside on the last play I thought he might go all the way-but the FSU prevent defense got him.  What I couldn't believe was what happened not long after the game.  I didn't expect to see a fight erupt, personally I always believed that you leave the game on the field but I guess emotions got the best of a few players.

The best part for me was watching in a bar full of Gator fans!

Great game, even though my favorite lost. I didn't think it was very smart, when UF took the lead with 2:55 left and started to celebrate.  Three minutes can be a long time in football....................unless you're talking to your wife. "just three more minutes honey!"

FSU has a circus but I don't think it has a Clown College.  I think there is a school around Orlando or St. Augustine that has one.

Did anyone notice the trivia question, Why didn't FSU play Florida until 1958?  The answer was a little convoluted but FSU didn't have a football team until then.  In fact, my mother went to school there when it was Florida State College for Women.

And I guess we all know that Bobby Bowden is now the winningest active coach in college football, Joe Paterno having a pretty bad year.

No, I have a great sense of humor.  Humor is sometimes lost in pure text messages.

The FSU circus is more like gymnastics.  They take it seriously.  And there is an actual clown college in Florida.  You need a degree from there before you can go into politics (see, humor).

Well I definately don't think Miami deserves to be called the best team in Florida simply because I'm a Buckeyes fan thru and thru and we beat them in like the greatest game ever for the National Championship lol. It's shame we lost to Michigan though. That just ruined football for me. Oh well we've always got next year.  ;D

Well, last year Miami was the best team in Florida by far-but that was last year.  They lost Dorsey and Willis McGahee which were the heart and soul of that team.  I think the Florida State is probably the best team in the stats-although I hate to say it.
