lol i said the same thing to my mom. She could actually sue the company for various reasons, No crowd control. no one came to her aid when it was requested. then it took long enough for proper action to be taken by staff. A free DVD player is the very least they could do when they could be looking at a million dollar lawsuit, and in this case i think its warrented

Yes, she should have gotten a free one.

If you stepped on someone...Don't you think you'd notice?  A sudden rise in elevation and then drop...Not to mention that a person is soft and squishy compared to concrete, and that person would most likely scream...But over a loud buzzer, and grown people screaming for DVD players?  Probably couldn't have been heard.

I'm just curious why someone would get up at 5 to get to Wal-Mart at 6 to buy a DVD player?  Or anything for that matter?  And why did no one care that their was an unconscious woman lying outside Wal-Mart?  People... :-/

I hope she recovers okay.

That sounds strange, the length people go for a cheap DVD player.

It sounds like  "Boxing Day". Its done by most commonwealth nations on the day after Christmas, where all stores has a big sale. I never go out on Boxing Day, people drive in a rush, there is no parking, and you have to wait three hours to get in a store. Then when I get in the store, I end up buying nothing. To me it becomes a wasted day
