A DHL A300 was hit by a SAM on departure from Baghdad airport,

They don't know for sure it was a missile! BTW, does anyone want to guess where they got those SAMs from?

most news company i have seen have reported a missile, with a 1lb warhead.

I think you'll find a lot of those SAM's were provided by the US during the Iran/Iraq war...
