Craig what type of printer, and what art package are you using?

PSP7 or adobe photoshop for the package and a lexmark X75 printer.

Why not use the Print Preview feature in PSP? This will enable you to see what it looks like & adjust if necessary before you print it out. Most graphics & publishing applications have a similar feature.

According to what I remember from my days in the printing industry....A4 = 8  1/4" x 11  1/4 ".....
...so all you need to know, is how much res are you using in your final output print, and how much border does your printer require, if you want to print the entire image in full.....?

Realistically though, Craig, if you shoot 1600 x 1200 with your new Fuji 2800, you will have adequate res to print the image on an 8 x 10 and the A4 isn't all that much larger, especially if you have good image browser (AcDSee) software and good image manipulation software (PSP8 or P'shop 7)....
.....Just print to fit the paper and trim it after it has been sitting for an hour or so to allow the paper and ink to stabilize..........thats the way I do it......... ;D
