ok, the wichita aviation festival was awsome. Friday night had a T-34,T-6, and mig17 flyin at dark!followed by 75mm fireworks!(they shot off so many, a hase hovered over the base for an hour).

Saturday, i had my obligations to the band in the morning, then i suited up and recruited people for CAP(and watched the show) for like 4hours.

Waggstaff was amazing, and we had a Waco biplane with a t-38 engene strapped to the bottom, and a crazy guy on top of the wing, after that was the F-117(t-bird replacement), F-18 demos, then we ahd a heritage flight with a F-18, F4u, and F4F. during band, a skywriter was up writing-AIRSHOW!, 100 YEARS, and PEPSI!.that was neat and odviously, we didnt get much done :P.

Sunday, i got up reeeal early and tried to get on base, then i realized i for got my ID, so i kick myself a few hundred times and headed back at 80mph. when i was 1/2 way home i realized-oh mike you dumb****!. my ID was siting beside me. so i kicked myself even more, and headed back even faster and checked in With CAP, did parking untill it started raining. then i got lunch, and get this, watched Waggstaff fly in pouring rain!(hence the title of the post), and once again watched the crazy guy with a jet powered waco do his thing in a little less rain.
The rest of the day was cancelled, so i volunteered to take down stuff. that was some freakin hard work- running from parking sign to orange barrel, pikin it up and loadin it up in the truck. did that for 2 hours, but it was worth it when we all got warm donated krispy kreme dougnuts  ;D.mhhmhmh(drooling)

so that was my weekend, how was yours?
