Can't view website from home?

Hi There,

Can anyone help me with this? When I try to view the site from home I get a warning saying I do not have permission to view this site.

The only other time I get a similar error is when I attempt to post an item on the Avsim Forum.

I think it has something to do with my security settings but I stumped if I know where to begin.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Boone

Boone. I'm guessing you're using the AOL browser. Once you're signed on, minimise AOL & fire up Internet Explorer. Use IE  for all your browsing & you should have no problems.

Hi Hagar,

Thanks for the quick response. However I don't use AOL and I don't have this problem with any other site other than posting at Avsim. Strange indeed? :(

Any other ideas.

Best Regards,

Boone

Ah well. It was worth a try. I know this is a problem with AOL. As I've never had a problem with this or any other site (using IE) it's difficult to suggest anything. You might check that your browser security setting is on the default Medium option.

I'll fiddle around with it in depth when I get home.

Thanks for the input.
