Things you wish you hadn't done

Postby EirePlane » Fri Sep 19, 2003 7:23 am

Just wondered if anyone has anything they wish they really hadn't done.
As i sit here typing with my sprained arm in a sling. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't gone so fast over that ramp on my friend's bike. I wish i didn't pull the front brake on the other side too.

I wish I hadn't got out of bed all this week. I really am getting v.apathetic about teaching ungrateful little teenagers. Oh and I had an assessor in one of my lessons today too! I hate that >:(

I wish I hadn't purchased CFS1 over 4 years ago. I might then be out in the real world doing something interesting like flying my RC models rather than sitting here stagnating. LOL :P

I met my first wife while cruising the loop in Colorado Springs at about 4:00 in the morning.  Me and a buddy saw these girls hanging out and decided to stop and try to hit on them.  If I had said 'no' (I was driving) and gone home to bed like I planned, my whole life would be different than it is now.

I can't really think of anything I regret doing but more what I havn't done.
If theres something I want to do I'll do it and if I screw it up its my fault so I can deal with it.

A long time ago, I made a promise to myself to do what I wanted to do, and never regret any decision I've ever made, because that experience has made me who I am today.

So to answer your question, nope. ;)
Great edit, Bob.

The last thing I would EVER want to do is re-live my life all over again...too much embarrassment, grief and aggravation... :'(....!
But...
as Hyp says...
...without going through all that, I wouldn't be the amazing, comical, worldly-wise, character that I am now.... 8)...!
Things are looking cool now... ;D...!

Cheers all... ;D...!

Somebody once told me they wish they had never heard of Shakespeare or Mozart (can't remember which) so that they could experience it again for the first time and relive all of that wonder and joy.  I kind of feel that way about flying... :)
