Who's multilingual?

I know that in Europe it is common for people to know multiple languages, I was wondering what languages everyone knows, besides English as this is obvious.
I have always wanted to learn spanish, it seems it would be the most useful second language here in the states due to the large number of hispanics that live here.
But I don't have a learn spanish program right now, (I do know a little, damn little.)
However, I do happen to have a learn German and a learn Italian program, does anyone speak these two languages and which is easier to learn?
(even though either of these languages would be for the most part useless to me, might be fun anyway.)
If you speak German, Italian and Spanish, which is the easiest of the three?

Well, besides English, which I learned as a young boy in England(if you call Geordie English).....I am now also, quite fluent in Canadian and American........neither can be confused with the Queens English, but neither can Geordie, for that matter ?.............

Spanish.........
PS: Knowing Spanish Italian is Easier. German is the hardest. If you knew Spanish Italian would be the way to go. It might still be better for you though

then Spanish would be easier

I can speak a little French and a little German. Enough that if a French or German person speaks very slowly I can understand them - just.
I once worked in a petrol station and a Lithuanian truck driver came in. Neither of us spoke the others language but we managed to communicate in very bad German. We ended up having a cup of tea. He was one of those people that make having a bad job worthwhile occasionally. My written German and French is appalling tho' see Silent Exploder for details LOL.

I understand enough French to survive a holiday and can manage about the same amount of Italian. I am by no means multilingual however.
