I was just watching a Science News program. This episode was following students from the University of Waterloo (in Ontario) to an unusual RC competition in Georgia USA. There are several challenging corses to fly. The corse Waterloo chose to fly was an attempt to fly an RC aircraft through the open window of a building, take a picture of an object inside and fly out another window. Now here's the kicker, you have no control of the airplane. Several universities got involved in this competition. Their goal was to each build a complete robotic aircraft. The aircraft must be able locate its target, fly to its target, and complete its goal all without any human imput.

You can see the story here at   http://www.exn.ca/video/?Video=exn20030 ... -plane.asx
